Hydro Dramatics completes $4M Government Hill project at Forest Park

Hydro Dramatics, a St. Louis-based fountain consulting firm, has completed the $4 million renovation project of the fountain and reflecting pool on Government Hill in Forest Park.

The Government Hill project is part of a $100 million master plan and collaboration between Forest Park Forever and the city of St. Louis that calls for major renovations throughout the park. Additional renovations to Government Hill included the installation of new stairways, upgraded paths for ADA accessibility, and construction of a natural amphitheater and hillside garden rooms.

HOK Inc., BSI Constructors and Delmar Plumbing were among those companies that worked on the Government Hill project, which has a grand opening celebration scheduled for May 8.

Hydro Dramatics is familiar with Forest Park having refurbished water features and fountains throughout the park, including those in the Emerson Grand Basin at the bottom of Art Hill and the Jewel Box.
