Walton Construction St. Louis is breaking ground Thursday on the new $6.7 million, 20,000-square-foot Chesterfield Medical Institute that will include an outpatient surgical unit and will house three different medical practices.
Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center, West County Dermatology and Generation Dental Group are the three medical practices that will occupy the building.
Walton announced in mid-April it was selected as general contractor of the project, which is scheduled for completion in March 2009.
Walton also will provide preconstruction, estimating and value engineering on the two-story medical complex located at 1001 Chesterfield Parkway East in Chesterfield, Mo. The architect on the project is Feeler-Scheer Architects LLC.
